    Diasppearing Snow Reveals Cached of Cash and Whisky.

    Clifford Bladecki, 51, 1106 South Erie, landed in jail Wednesday and it was all because the weather turned warm the night before.

    Employed as a porter at the Disabled American Veterans Victory club, 1304 South Wenona avenue, Bladecki has been sought since Monday for questioning in connection with the theft from the club of $250 in cash and liquor valued at $200.

    When the snow began melting Tuesday night bottles of liquor and cash began showing up in Bladecki's yard. Youngsters playing in the neighborhood found a bottle of liquor showing through the fast disappearing snow and reported their find to their parents. The Information was relayed to police headquarters.

    When Detective Chester Trojanowicz arrived he located seven more full bottles in the yard and a glass jar containing $129 in cash. He also located Bladecki in the house in a very intoxicated condition, he said.

    Among 29 new enlistees in the navy through the recruiting office in the Saginaw federal building are three Bay Cityans, including Wilfred L. Cadieux, 807 King street; Lester William Goss, 2231 McKinnley avenue; and Thomas D. Larkin, 308 North Dewitt street.

    Another Bay county enlistee is Alfred J. Trudell, of Pinconning.
