WILLIAM EDWARD BOYDEN. _______
William Edward Boyden was the son of Edward Luther Boyden of Wastenaw county, Michigan and Frances A. (Burnett) Boyden of Phelps, New York. Wm. Edward was born in Webster township, Wastenaw county, Michigan, July 5, 1860.
He married Nettie Adelia Robinson, of Sharon, Wastenaw county. She was reared, educated and married in Ann Arbor, Mich.
He was educated in a public school of Detroit, having frail health. He is a Republican and no surrenderer. Since arriving to the majority he has always been a farmer, preferring live stock, living on the old home farm until November 13, 1901, when as manager of a farm, he cast his lot with Eugene Fifield of Bay City. He was director and moderator of the old home district school; member of the State Board of Agriculture 1895-97; for some years a director of the American Shorthorn Association.
