- Bay City's New Waterfalls Mini-Park -

July 2006: Downtown Bay City, MI.

Tell someone there is a waterfalls on the Saginaw River and they would most like say, "no way!" But, its true thanks to a little bit of engineering which draws water from the river to a fountain then returns it back to the river over a miniature water fall.

The mini-park located at the foot of Third Street, includes a large deck the juts out over the water, and a small stage area for entertainment.

If your not familiar with the area, its worth a trip to see the waterfalls, which is next to "St. Laurents," one of the oldest candy stores in Michigan with a exceptionally larger variety of sweets. If your a collector you most likely are aware of nearby Water Street which represents the largest antique district in Michigan. For the rest, a walk through any of these stores is like trip through the past seeing the artifacts your ancestors used during their time.
