Pine Ridge Cemetery, established in 1858, is an abandoned pioneer burial grounds, and is the final resting place for many of Bay City's earliest pioneers. It's includes a Soldiers Rest area once maintained by the Grand Army of the Republic, Post #67 and burial sites for 150 Civil War veterans. -- The cemetery is maintained today by New Dimensions, Inc., a non-profit organization to providing disable persons with a meaningful life.
